Wi-Fi adaptor error Code 10

Wi-Fi adaptor error Code 10

Windows 10 updates are constantly threatening the stability of wi-fi connections. In certain circumstances, a wi-fi connection will cease to exist. To find out what Go To Control Panel > Devices and check the Wi Fi device (It will display a warning triangle if there is a fault). Make a note of the Device Name and check the Error Code in device Properties section.

If it is a Code 10 then the current driver has been corrupted and/or is no longer compatible with the update applied to your machine.

In these circumstances, go get a new Driver from your device download site and/or the wi-fi adaptor web site. Uninstall the current driver and re-install the newly downloaded driver. Restart your device and try to connect using wi-fi again.

Note: If you have a cable connected to your device wi-fi will not start as cable, in most devices, takes priority.
